The "Giselle" curse lives on I guess.
Really no explanation for how he came out. IMO You can't blame that first pick on anything the Jets did well. Yeah someone got a hand up but come on, you don't just float a ball up there in the middle of the defense, how does someone who's been as good as Brady this year make that throw. He did not come to play yesterday and it's very concerning for the future of this team which figures to be an elite team for the next 4-5 years w/ one more good draft. Then it just all fell apart for us even when our defense was doing a respectable job of keeping us in the game.
He came out the same way against Baltimore. People blame Matt Light for the first turnover but it's up to Brady to sense outside pressure off the edge on a 3 man rush and step up in the pocket. Then the next drive he floats it up in the middle of the field under pressure and it's easily picked. Yeah, the protection wasn't perfect but it wasn't always perfect back in the day either and he didn't hand the ball up on a silver platter.
This is what makes the loss so tough thinking towards the future, because obviously #12 is they key to our team's success and he's no longer so dependable in the playoffs. This year it's tougher than last year because we can't use the coming off a big injury excuse.
